FAQ's

How do I schedule an appointment?

Please call (813) 360-6014 to schedule an appointment.  If you reach my voicemail, you can expect a return call within 24-48 business hours

Do you take insurance?

I currently do not accept any form of insurance. By not using insurance, your mental health information is kept confidential, treatment length is in our control, and treatments can be tailored to your personal needs and goals. If interested, I can provide you with an itemized receipt ( superbill) to submit to your insurance for reimbursement if your health plan permits. Please call your plan directly to see if they provide any coverage for out of network mental health outpatient services.

How do I make payments?

Bottom Line Counseling Solutions accepts all major credit cards. Payment is due in full at end of each session.  No check payment accepted. At the end of your first session, I will text you a link to input your card information to keep on file. This can be a credit/debit card or an HSA/FSA card.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you are unable to keep an appointment, please notify Bottom Line Counseling Solutions at least 24 hours in advance. If such advance notice is not received, you will be financially responsible for the session you missed.

What other services do you provide?

Substance use evaluations and updates: For an additional fee, we can provide substance use assessments as well as written progress updates to probation officers, judges, case managers and other legal entities.

Clinical Supervision for registered social work interns:  For those of you with a master’s degree in Social Work you need professional supervision (and passage of the state board exam and other state requirements) to gain licensure in Florida. I (Maydean Yates, LCSW, MCAP) provide professional supervision privately and/or in a group setting. As a Qualified Supervisor I specialize in mental health, addictions, trauma, grief, family/couples therapy and group therapy. Professional supervision is a key component to honing your skills, preventing burn out and staying on the edge of your knowledge base.
